Dr John Grieve

Dr John Grieve is a highly experienced diagnostic and interventional radiologist with extensive training across both metropolitan and tertiary referral centres. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2007, followed by internship and residency training on the Gold Coast.

He went on to complete specialist radiology training in Sydney, before undertaking advanced fellowship training in interventional radiology at Liverpool Hospital. In recognition of his subspecialty expertise, Dr Grieve was awarded the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification in 2017.

Since 2018, Dr Grieve has served as a Senior Staff Specialist Interventional Radiologist at Gold Coast University Hospital, where he also holds the role of Director of Training, overseeing registrar education and contributing to the development of future radiology specialists.

Beyond his hospital practice, Dr Grieve is deeply committed to improving access to advanced interventional services in regional Queensland, providing regular outreach services to Roma, Warwick and Dalby. He has been a valued member of the IPGC team since 2024.
