Dr Don Van Ngo is a specialist radiologist with a strong academic record and a focused practice in minimally invasive advanced pain management procedures. Born and raised in Melbourne, he relocated to Queensland in 2008 to undertake his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, graduating with a Dean's Award (Top 5 in class).

Dr Ngo completed his radiology training at Gold Coast University Hospital, where he later held a Staff Specialist appointment until 2024. His clinical interests centre on image-guided techniques that improve precision, safety and patient outcomes in pain management.

In 2023, Dr Ngo founded IPGC Spine & Joint after identifying a gap in the patient care journey where interventional services could be delivered more effectively. Since its establishment, IPGC has grown rapidly, now treating thousands of patients each year and serving as a trusted referral destination for doctors across South East Queensland.

Dr Ngo has a strong interest in imaging innovation and research. In 2019, he was invited to present his work on Spectral CT at the Asian Congress of Abdominal Radiology in Chengdu, China, where his presentation was recognised with a Top 20 award. He has also contributed extensively to medical education, serving as a radiology lecturer for medical students at Bond University and Griffith University.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Ngo enjoys spending time with his wife and children, making the most of the Queensland lifestyle through swimming, fishing and time on the water.
