Mersad Delic

Mersad is a highly experienced diagnostic radiographer with a strong academic background and extensive tertiary hospital experience. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) at Griffith University, followed by a Master of Diagnostic Radiography and a Graduate Diploma in Computed Tomography at the University of Sydney. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Science (Health) from the University of New England.

He began his clinical career at The Prince Charles Hospital and has since accumulated over eight years of experience at Gold Coast University Hospital, working across a wide range of imaging specialties including emergency imaging, interventional radiology and cardiac imaging. Mersad is recognised for his strong problem-solving ability, technical precision and calm, patient-centred approach in complex and high-acuity clinical environments.

In addition to his clinical work, Mersad is the founder of PrecisionPAD, an innovative medical device developed to improve accuracy and efficiency in CT-guided procedures. PrecisionPAD has been used in thousands of CT-guided interventions across numerous clinics throughout Australia, reflecting his commitment to practical innovation and continuous improvement in medical imaging.

Building on this experience, Mersad is preparing for entry into medical school, with the long-term goal of becoming a radiologist.
