Dr Melanie Lau

Dr Melanie Lau is an experienced general and procedural radiologist who completed her medical degree in 1997 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2005.

In 2023, she also became a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, reflecting her commitment to care that considers the broader factors influencing a patient's health and wellbeing. She combines her radiology expertise and procedural skills with the principles of lifestyle medicine to provide a thoughtful, holistic and patient-centred approach.

She is also the founder of the Melolux Community, an online education platform created to support learning and collaboration across the radiology profession, including radiologists, technicians, doctors and practice managers.

Her clinical interests include general radiology and image-guided procedures, with a strong focus on clear communication, practical care and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.
